Die Cast Machine Operator
Operate a die cast machine that requires manual production steps including die lubrication, hand ladling molten metal, starting the machine cycle, positioning inserts, cleaning flash, removing castings, and visually inspecting finished castings.
General Expectations
- Operate die cast machines requiring substantial manual operations
- Lubricate dies and cores and support cycle startup
- Position inserts, remove castings, and clean flash from dies
- Visually inspect die castings during production
- Assist with process adjustments when needed
Requirements
What the role calls for
- One year of experience preferred
- Detailed job training provided for the position
- Reports to the Foundry Supervisor
