Secondary Machine Operator
Support manual secondary machining operations for die cast parts including tapping, drilling, sanding, reaming, filing, inspection, and related shop-floor production work.
General Expectations
- Machine die cast parts including tapping, drilling, sanding, reaming, and filing
- Operate punch press, drill press, and Bridgeport equipment
- Inspect and gauge parts as needed
- Work collaboratively with the production team
- Handle other assigned shop duties as needed
Requirements
What the role calls for
- Minimum three years as a manual machinist
- Drill press and Bridgeport experience required
- Towmotor experience is helpful
- Must be able to problem solve, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
